Great companies are built on a foundation of values.
Your values are integral to your brand qualities.
Like most successful brands, Apple reveals its soul in its adverting. It demonstrates its own visionary qualities– passions and creativity-in the extraordinary, far-thinking people associates with its logo. What words speak to your personal value system, that metronome for personal behavior-what you stand for, what you want to live up to, what you consider most important to your inner life and well-being?
I do an activity with all my clients on values. It helps to get your GPS (General Principle System) on track. Knowing your business values helps you make decisions easier because if it does not line up with our values, it’s a NO!
Take a few minutes and download the values forms and select your top six values. That’s all you need. These are universal values, which means that they apply in all circumstances for you, all the time. These are values that you feel you couldn’t live without them. Once you pick your values ask yourself two questions:
1. How do I act out my core values every day?
2. How do I deny my values system?
Once you answer, you know what to do.
