Most people avoid conversations that they know will be tough and draining. Having “real” conversations is a skill. Skills can be developed. I read the book Fierce Conversations by Susan Scott and it changed my life personally and professionally. I learned to have better conversation and most importantly “real” conversation with employees and family.
Susan has a conversation model that I have used for ten years and I share it with all my executive leadership clients to help them navigate having better conversations. I want to share it with you too. Make sure you check out the book as well. Here’s to having better conversations that change your environment and work culture.
